Smooth Truckfest is just on the horizon.
The festival, the largest held by Smooth Rock Falls, attracts people from all over the region.
All of the race events have been finalized featuring multiple classes of vehicles like a diesel pick-up truck race and even a large transport truck race.
In total the drivers will be competing for over $30,000 worth of prizes.
There will also be draws for vehicles and other prizes valued at over $70,000 for festival attendees.
One of the event’s organizers, Andre Bernier says the festival draws in people from all over and provides a huge surge for businesses in town.
The car show and parade will kick off the weekend’s events followed by the main events on Saturday, the races, and performances by Canada’s own Hedley.
