Kapuskasing city council will move to a new format.
The new format for council will see meetings every two weeks.
Two advantages to the new format are quicker meetings and allowing the public more opportunities to attend council.
Changes may be made to hiring processes for the town, accepting other credentials pertaining to grade 12 equivalent education.
The ATV by-laws allowing for greater use of the off-road vehicles on our roads may move forward on a trial basis.
Safety concerns regarding school zones and the areas near the hospital were voiced, the possibility of introducing an ATV speed limit in those areas may cut that risk.
And finally the Highway 11 Connecting Link Upgrade project is currently running $1.3 million over budget and will go through changes to keep costs within an acceptable range.
