Students at Northern College are getting some hands on experience.
Dumas Mining has donated $65,000 worth of machinery to the school’s heavy equipment programs.
The donation was finalized in a presentation at Northern yesterday.
The six pieces of equipment include mine tractors and scissor lifts.
President of Northern, Fred Gibbons, says hands on experience is in high demand from local employers.
