Around 100 teams will be in Kapuskasing this weekend for a fishing tournament.
Dean Bliss from the Kapuskasing River Walleye Tournament says many of the anglers are already in town and will be using the businesses here to purchase their supplies and care for their boats.
As the week goes on more anglers from out of town will be arriving to get a lay of the land – or rather the water – in preparation for the tournament.
The event is part of a large circuit that runs through Ontario.
