First Nation businesses in area get Hydro One grants

Two first nation businesses in the region have received grants from Hydro One. Wesley Bow Guides from Hearst that offers a black bear outfitting camp is getting $7,500.

First Nation Timber in Kapuskasing is getting $2,500. It offers heavy civil work, road building and maintenance as well as logging operations. The Hearst and Kap businesses are also getting Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business memberships.

President and CEO Tabatha Bull says for a second year in a row the council is partnering with Hydro One to assist indigenous businesses in achieving their goals.
