An investment of $380,000 will be channeled through the Nothern Ontario Development Program to Temiskaming.
The investment aims to help businesses advertise and promote during the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada’s international convention in 2016.
The event, with global exposure attracts over 1,000 exhibitors according to FedNor and 25,000 representatives from over 125 countries in the mining industry.
This marks yet another investment into Northern Ontario after Mattice, Kapuskasing, Cochrane, Moosonee and Timmins all received grants for infrastructure in the last two months.
