The program manager for the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation says preparations for next Friday`s Radiothon are coming along well. Mireille Dubosq says that some of the ground work of contacting buisnesses and organizations for support is starting to pay off.
“And people have started sending in donations and making pledges so that`s quite exciting,” she said. “And we`re excited to see what`s going to happen the day the day of and what success we are going to see this year.”
Dubosq says two new features are being added this year.
“A hot chocolate bar for donors that come in to make their donations in person,” she said. “We`re going to have a fish hut in the parking lot for people who are just driving by and don`t really have time to come by and chat with us.”
This year the foundation is raising money for a Panda Warmer to help newborns. The Notre Dame Hospital Foundation in Hearst is raising money for ongoing expansion efforts.
