Regional Heat Warning Lifted

Residents of the region will be happy to know that temperatures are predicted to remain within season norms for next few weeks.

After a heat warning in the Northeast that lasted nearly six days in total, today’s forecast predicting a high of 21 and a chance of rain is a welcome return.

Environment Canada and the Weather Network’s current predictions forecast nothing over 23 degrees for the next two weeks.

According to various health units in the region there were very few cases of heat related illness.
