The next Kapuskasing Town Council will have an even split of incumbents and new faces following last night’s elections.
Newcomer Melanie Breton finished as the top vote getter at 1,118 followed by the three incumbents Ken Munnoch, Bruce Newton and Guylaine Scherer.
Two new faces round out the seats with former councilor Martin Dinnissen returning and business owner Gary Fortin.
Mayor Dave Plourde was acclaimed to his second term.
