The Aging at Home program at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital is offering help and advice this Wednesday, for anyone 60-plus and their families deal with diabetes.
Coordinator Carole Cloutier says there are two sessions of “Living Well with Diabetes”.
“Our first one is for our French speaking participants at 1:00,” she explains, “and the other one is for the English speaking participants at 2:00.”
Diabetes experts from the MICs health care group will conduct the sessions.
“They will provide you with the tools to help you understand and manage your diabetes, to keep everything in balance and stay healthy with diabetes,” Cloutier explains. “That sometimes can be very hard.”
There’s no charge. Registration is required by calling 705-338-3224. The sessions will be at the community centre on Gordon Ave. in SRF.
