The Kapuskasing Sno-Rovers Club is holding its annual general meeting tomorrow at 7 pm at the Civic Centre green room. Secretary Jean Fillion says anyone who is a member or non-member but has an interest in snowmobiling in the region is encouraged to come out.
“So this year we will be looking for a few people from the manual end of things whether signage on the trails or whatnot,” he said. “And we are also looking for people to be part of our board of directors.”
Fillion says volunteers are a huge part of the organization especially with the maintaining of the trails in the area.
“The trails need to be in pristine condition for a few reasons safety first and foremost and secondly we attract a lot of tourism during the winter months,” he said. “And the number one feedback we get from visitors here is how great the trails are here.”
