ONTC workers replacing railway ties in Kapuskasing

Improvements to the railway line in the Kapuskasing are continuing this week. Ontario Northland Transportation Commission workers are replacing ties that hold the track together during the evening and overnight hours.

Communication specialist Kate Bondett says the late night work helps to ensure that the metals remain cool so welding can take place, reducing the impacts to the train schedule.
