Heavy Foot Syndrome seems to have broken out in Mattice.
Provincial police have stopped four drivers in the past two weeks, and charged them with stunt driving. The four transport trucks and one car were being driven at between 102 and 108 km/h. The speed limit is 60.
The vehicles were impounded and driver’s licences suspended.
