The model town will be getting the summer festival spirit after all. Kap Kraze, is coming to Riverside Park on Saturday, July 30th from 10 am until about 12:30 am. Tourism and special events coordinator Kelly Kraby invites everyone out to enjoy the day.
“We’re really excited to bring back some entertainment in Riverside Park,” she said. “We’re calling Kap Kraze a block party just because we’re containing it to one specific zone on McPherson and Riverside. We’re excited to get back out there to offer some programming to the community to visitors from outside.”
There will be children’s activities, a motorcycle rally and rodeo, food, yoga, and zoomba dancing. Under the big tent a washer tournament, and live music with Mitch Jean headlining the entertainment.
Kraby says there is even a great finale near the end of the night.
“Phenomenal fireworks show which is happening around dusk which is right around 10:30 that’s when things will be lit up over the bay so come and join us for that,” she said. “We are happy to announce that everything is free so come one come all there’s no admission.”
