A fun family event to learn more about small animals is being offered on Sunday in Val Rita- Harty. It’s Creature Crossing at the Community Centre from 1 to 3 pm that will feature a live show and a touch table. Town spokesperson Alex Powers says the event is open to everyone across the region.
“There is no cost to it we asking people to bring a non-perishable food item per person attending. All of those donations will be going to the Kapuskasing Food Bank,” She said. “I think it’s a super awesome cause and we just want to gather everyone up.”
Powers says it’s going to be a lot of fun.
“So kids and adults alike that interact with the animals that they’re bringing,” she said. “I think it will be a super cool and fun educational experience.”
