Hearst Rotary Club marking Canada Day with full day of activities

The Hearst Rotary Club has a complete day of Canada Day activities. It includes a beer fest during the afternoon for the adults, face painting, and crafts for families. In the evening there’s live music followed by fireworks at 11 pm. Rotary Club President Marjolaine Talbot-Lemaire says this year the club went all out.

“This is the first Canada Day celebration for the past few years and we are also celebrating the 100th of Hearst,” she said. “So people can expect the Fireworks for 12 to 15 minutes and really be wowed by them this year.”

Talbot-Lemaire says this day is not to be missed.

“So I just want to invite everyone to this event,” she said. “It will be lots of fun. We are also going to have a local food truck, hoping that Mother Nature is also going to be joining us with a beautiful nice day.”

Activities kick off at 1 pm at the new Hearst Pavilion that can be converted from indoor to outdoor depending on the weather.
