Spring Clean-up week is back in Kapuskasing. It will start next Saturday, May 14 to May 22 when people can leave large items at such as furniture, appliances, tv sets and bicycles at curbside.

Special Garbage collection week takes place the week of May 24th but large appliances must be scheduled for pick-up.

Kapuskasing Town Council has given Vie Propre $1,000 worth of pool rentals, pool passes and ice rentals to be handed out as prizes. Vie Propre is a non-profit group that encourages families to go out and help pick up garbage in the community.
