More Connecting Link money heading to Kapuskasing

The flood of provincial money to the town of Kapuskasing is continuing.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation announced $3 million late last week to fix up a stretch of Government Road from the Service Master business to Caron Street. That connecting link funding has been helpful to the town to fix up a large portion of Government Road from La Salle Street to Gurney Road. This summer the town will fix up the stretch from Gurney Road to the Service Master business, but it’s unknow when the next section will be done.

Kapuskasing has seen a large amount of provincial funding head its way for things such as water and sewer repair, road construction as well as help local businesses including GreenFirst Forest Products.
