Winter weather advisory in effect for region

Just when you thought, even hoped, spring was finally arriving, there’s this: Environment Canada says the Kapuskasing region is in for as much as 30 cm of snow.

It’s expected to start Wednesday morning, hitting the 10 cm mark by evening and then tapering off.  But it will pick up again on Thursday, leaving another 10 to 20 cm before tapering off west to east.

The weather advisory says there is “considerable uncertainty concerning the amount of snowfall”, so a snowfall warning could be necessary as the system approaches.
