Final preparations are being made for tomorrow’s Kapuskasing and District’s Chamber of Commerce annual meeting at the Centre De Loisirs starting at 11:30 am. There are three guest speakers including Northern Development Mines and Forestry Minister Greg Rickford, the CEO of the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission Corina Moore and Tracy Macgregor of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Chamber office manager Donna Todd says it’s going to be a busy two hours.
“It’s been hard work over the last two years,” she said. “We haven’t had an AGM so this one we put a little bit more effort into it. It’s to kick off our 60th anniversary celebrations so a lot of guest speakers.”
Details of how the Chamber will mark its 60th anniversary will also be announced. Tickets are still available for the luncheon at the Chamber office.
