The winter road that provides access of the James Bay Coastal communities to the highway 11 corridor will be closed for the rest of the week. Moose Cree First Nation officials say that due to the warmer temperatures forecasted, Wetum Road will be closed from 8 am to 8pm from tomorrow to Sunday.
The officials add that the closure is necessary to keep the road surface useable for as long as possible. Wetum Road is located north of Smooth Rock Falls off of highway 634 and ends in Moose Factory.
