Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus says truck convoy supporters threatened him

Timmins-James Bay Member of Parliament Charlie Angus says he has received threats from supporters of the truckers’ convoy headed for Ottawa.

On social media Thursday night, the New Democrat posted that the supporters told him he should be “jailed, charged with war crimes and actually sent to Hell.”

Parliamentary Security also took the unprecedented action of alerting MPs that their staff and family homes are being targeted.

The convoy is headed to a Parliament Hill rally Saturday, to protest having to be COVID-19 vaccinated to come back into Canada from the States without a 14-day quarantine.

We’ll be speaking to Charlie Angus Friday morning and will have more on our afternoon newscasts on Moose FM, and here on My Kapuskasing Now Dot Com.
