A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls.
The Porcupine Health Unit doesn’t provide any more details such as case numbers, or how many patients were admitted with the virus, as opposed to how many contracted it in the hospital.
PHU does say that it will continue to work with the hospital on infection prevention, control and enhanced public health measures.
