Rosie, Rocky and Ronan are three lucky “chicks”. They have over 20 mother hens looking over them. The baby chicks were a project in the junior/senior kindergarten class at Diamond Jubilee Public School. The eggs came from a farm in Val Rita and have since been returned to the farm. During the project Mrs. Stickley says the children had to learn when to rotate the eggs and taught them empathy, growth, development and responsibility. Once the eggs hatched the children shared with the entire school. They also shared the project with videos and Face Time with students at Andre Cary School.
