If you are looking at getting into the holiday spirit early and helping others, a toy drive is taking place on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at the RNL Cleaning Services Warehouse on Riverside Drive in Kapuskasing. The event will benefit Northeastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services Christmas campaign. RNL co-owner Sierra Levesque (See-Era Le-vike) says she knows first-hand the importance of toys drives.
“I remember there’s one Christmas where we had to access a service like this, so it’s something that I hold close to my heart,” she said. “We personally support it every year, but now that we have a business we feel that it is our responsibility to try and do what we can.”
Levesque says you can drop off your toy donations at their warehouse on Riverside Drive throughout the day.
“We know it’s during a work week so we are going in a little bit earlier and staying a little bit later hopefully people can stop in before or after work or join us on their lunch hour,” she said. “But we will be there all day.”
You are invited to drop off your toy donations between 9 am and 5 pm. Levesque says they have teamed up with several businesses and to create several draws to thank those who donate.
