Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation 50-50 draw could be up next month

It appears the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation could have its 50/50 draw up and running by the middle of next month. Chairman Gilbert Peters says they are in the home stretch in finalizing much of the paperwork.

“We are hoping that date sticks with us but with all of the rules and regulations that we must abide by to get this thing done,” he said. “We are doing well, and Mireille is working on it day and night and the rest of the crew assisting her to try and get things wrapped up.”

He adds that this draw will be important to the foundation.

“We can’t make no dances, and we can’t have no galas,” he said. “We can’t have none of that right now so our 50/50 is going to fill in big gap that was missing and to raise funds. And who doesn’t like to buy a 50/50 ticket. Everybody wants a chance.”

The online 50/50 draw would join others that are underway across the region including hospitals in Hearst, Timmins, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls and Matheson.
