Kap resident charged following two separate incidents

A Kapuskasing resident is facing numerous charges after two separate incidents the past couple of days.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to a Break and Enter incident at an Ottawa Street yesterday (Wednesday) morning.  Later, they pulled the driver over on Government Road. He fled from the scene. A short time afterwards, the same vehicle was involved in an accident on Highway 11 near Moonbeam. The driver was uninjured and fled the scene on foot, but was later found by a police dog.

The 32-year-old is facing four charges of failure to remain, as well as dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving under suspension, break and enter, and theft of a motor vehicle.
