Timmins City Council has approved a lease agreement with Thunder Airlines for the Vic M Power Airport.
Thunder Airlines flies to the far north and communities such as Moosonee, Ft Albany and Peawanuck. Counter space, an office and a baggage hold area is being provided to the company at the Timmins airport. The airline is also one of the largest medical contractors to Ornge and supplies charter service to a lot of organizations across the province.
