Taking your golf cart to and from the course in our region, could have you facing charges in the future.
Ontario Provincial Police say there have been numerous complaints especially in Kapuskasing about golf carts on town streets. Police add that even though golf carts may resemble low speed vehicles they are not allowed on the streets. Low speed vehicles must have several features from a speedometer to doors, mirrors and even seat belt assembly.
Police add that you could be charged if your low speed vehicle doesn’t have the proper equipment, insurance, or even a permit to drive it.
