More resolved COVID-19 cases than new ones reported by PHU

There ­are new cases of COVID-19 to report today in the Porcupine Health Unit region.  A bright spot is that they’re far fewer than the number of newly resolved cases.

Forty-one cases have moved onto the “resolved” list. Sixteen are newly confirmed, bumping up the total case count to 1,917.

Ten of the new cases are from the coast.  Two each are reported in Timmins, the area between Smooth Rock Falls and Matheson, and the Kapuskasing area, between Fauquier and Opasatika.
