There has been another significant spike in the number of COVID-19 cases recorded by the Porcupine Health Unit. Today’s number of new cases is 51.
Forty-five of them are on the James Bay-Hudson Bay coast; five in Timmins and one in the Highway 11 corridor between Smooth Rock Falls and Matheson.
Three-hundred-and-sixty-one are currently active, out of the pandemic total so far of 1,724.
