Two new cases of COVID-19 reported Tuesday night brought the Porcupine Health Unit’s total for the day to three. Like the first one, the two latest are in Timmins. One is part of an institutional outbreak and the other is under investigation. The number of cases during the pandemic is now 583.
At the same time, PHU reported an outbreak at the Living Space homeless shelter in Timmins. Anyone who was there between last Thurs., April 22 and Tues., April 21 is at high risk of having been exposed. Testing at the facility is being organized.
