COVID-19 case in an Iroquois Falls school

One of the recently revealed cases of COVID-19 between Smooth Rock Falls is in the Grade 7 and 8 section of Iroquois Falls Secondary School.  The school is still open, although spring break starts at the end of Friday’s school day.

District School Board Ontario North East declined an interview to discuss the case and protocols, citing privacy concerns.

This is its third school to have a single case of the virus so far during the pandemic.  Kapuskasing District High School and Roland Michener Secondary in South Porcupine had the earlier ones.
