The office of the New Democrat MPP for our area has been jumping in to help with booking of COVID-19 vaccination appointments. Mushkegowuk-James Bay’s Guy Bourgouin says his office responded to requests made by the Porcupine Health Unit.
“What we did of course because of the situation is to try and assist the health unit,” he said. “Our office has been booking appointments through the system to help people who are having problems navigating through the system.”
As more clinics are announced including next week in our region, you too can help those who are having a hard time booking due to lack of internet access or understanding the phone system.
