Someone flying into Timmins last Thursday night, April 1st, inadvertently brought COVID-19 with them, possibly exposing everyone else on board.

The Porcupine Health Unit says anyone in rows 1 to 4 on Air Canada flight 8289 that left Toronto at 6:55pm should go into self-isolation and call the health unit.  All other passengers should monitor for symptoms. If they develop, you should also self-isolate and call PHU.
