A Hearst resident is learning the hard way that you can’t have marijuana in the car with you.
During a routine RIDE Check by Ontario Provincial Police last Monday, Mar. 22, a strong odor of cannabis was detected in the vehicle. The driver was charged with having marijuana readily and available.

Police remind you that in order to transport a legal quantity of cannabis you must have it stored properly in the trunk.
