Renovations to the 100 year old Civic Centre in Kapuskasing will begin early next month.
Town council approved the construction contract on Monday night and anxious to get the project going. Several are concerned that the deteriorating stairs are a trip and fall hazard to anyone who uses the facility. The $151,000 project not only includes repairs to the concrete stairs and railing plus some much need improvements to the roof at the Public Library.
It’s expected to take about two weeks to complete project.
