The COVID-19 death toll at Extendicare Kapuskasing is now 15 residents.

The Porcupine Health Unit and Extendicare are both confirming the latest two deaths in the long-term care facility.

Overall in the region since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 24 deaths.

The total number of positive test results is 299.
