Constance Lake First Nation working through COVID-19 outbreak

Constance Lake First Nation continues to work through the outbreak of COVID-19 with its residents.

As of Tuesday, there are nine active cases with two more resolved. An outbreak has been declared at the Sunrise Elders Complex with one resident testing positive for the virus. The facility is closed to the public including no visitors and common areas are also closed to the residents.

Constance Lake remains closed until February 10th after a second state of emergency was put in place late last week. A checkpoint is open tomorrow and Friday for residents to get essential supplies and take care of other issues.
