Ontario reports fewer than 2,000 new COVID-19 cases

Ontario is reporting fewer than 2,000 new COVID-19 cases.
Monday’s 1,958 cases come on the one year anniversary of the first case of COVID-19 being identified in Canada.
Sixty-three per cent of Monday’s cases are in the hotspots around the GTHA.
Nearly 36,000 tests were completed over the last day.
Another 43 people have died across the province.
Per cent positivity, the percentage of tests coming back positive, is around 5.4 per cent.
