The Kapuskasing Rotary Club has a Plan ‘B’ for their Bay Dip Challenge in case the provincial lockdown is extended through February. Organizer Don McInnis says the club will offer an extreme way to complete their challenges if they can’t jump in the Kap River.
He adds the participant can have a person inside their bubble take a video of their extreme challenge and upload it to the Bay Dip Facebook page. Last year’s event raised nearly $25,000 for charity and McInnis says the response to signing up for this year has been amazing.
The Bay Dip Challenge was to be held in late February near the date of the Kapuskasing Winter Carnival.
