This lockdown will look much similar to the last one in Kap with regards to municipal services available

As we get set for the second provincial lockdown on Saturday, town of Kapuskasing Administrator Guylain Baril says things will be much as they were back in the Spring.

The Civic Centre, Public Works, Welcome Centre, Sports Palace, Donat Brousseau Pool will be closed to the public for the two week period. The Airport terminal will be closed but still available for cargo pick-up. The Murdoch Hill toboggan hill and the ice pad are all open. If you need to pay a municipal bill you can contact the town during the lockdown period and someone will be more than happy to help you.

Baril says the new Kap 100 ice pad is closed for a few more days due to some problems making the ice, but it’s hoped a new sheet will be made soon so you can enjoy the new attraction in Riverside Park.
