Despite changes in collecting donations due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Kapuskasing Fire Department’s annual food drive went off without a hitch. In fact 5,000 pounds in food and one thousand dollars in donations were picked up by firefighters in the community last week. Firefighters had to collect food without help from local minor hockey teams and organizations due to public health protocols. Those who made donations had to leave them at the end of their driveway in a box or a bag.
