Changes this year to NEOFACS Christmas Angel Campaign

The NEOFACS Christmas Angel Campaign is faced with some unique changes this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Communications Coordinator Melanie Watson says among the new protocols in place includes a quarantine of toys for 10 days and a shorter time frame for you to make a donation of either cash or new toys for children.

“Just to ensure that proper timing of quarantine of the items, packaging them and delivering them to families in our region,” she said. “We will do different drop off days so any family that is interested in donating can contact our region and connect with your regional campaign needs.”

Watson says the pandemic has impacted everyone especially vulnerable youth and families.

“And we know it’s created extra stresses, and challenges so we really know that the families that we serve could use that support this year especially around the holidays,” she said. “So we are looking at being able to fulfil those Christmas wishes ensuring everyone has a happy holidays.”

NEOFACS was formerly the Children’s Aid.
