You can now expect delays throughout the day on Government Road in Kapuskasing. Construction is underway on the Connecting Link from LaSalle to just past Gurney Road that will see new water and sewer lines, beautification improvements to the existing ditches as well as new asphalt.
The town received 2.8 million dollars from the province’s connecting link program to help in the construction along that stretch. It is not known how long that project will take to complete. This is part two of the Town’s construction on Government road. A year ago, there were numerous delays along the when the first part from the Golf Course to LaSalle Street was being completed.
