A grant to help municipalities clean their buses and prevent the spread of COVID-19 is one of the highlights of a busy agenda at Kapuskasing Town Council tonight. It’s expected that Council will apply for the Municipal Transit Enhanced Cleaning grant from the province that will help cover continued clean costs that might be incurred due to COVID-19.
Town Council will also learn just how bad the front of the Civic Centre is when an engineering report is released. The Civic Centre has some major problems to the foundation and roof. With the 100th anniversary next year Council is being asked to consider fixing up the building now instead of waiting.
