Call and book appointment before visiting loved one: North Centennial Manor officials

Visitor policies at long term care facilities in our region still have a lot of people confused of what protocols to follow. That’s according to North Centennial Manor Administrator Claude Tremblay who reminds you of the need to call ahead to book a visit first instead of just showing up. He adds that that the manor staff need to know who you are visiting and where you will see them. If you are seeing a loved one inside the manor, then you must get a negative COVID-19 test in the two weeks prior to the scheduled visit. A COVID-19 test is not needed if you are seeing a resident in the manor’s outside seating area.
