Summer concert series in Timmins looking for a few performers and goes virtual starting August 3

One of the fixtures of summer in Timmins is making a comeback after all. The summer concert series that had to postpone their shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic is going virtually with a return date set for August 3rd. Organizer Peter Lawryniw says among the things they need are 20 acts interested in putting on a show as well as a venue.

“We would like to have a location with a stage for the bands, artists or anyone musical who wants to perform,” he said. “We want one performer a day to do a live stream for a 60 to 80 minute performance that includes a host, the performance and the advertising.”

He encourages those interested to visit their website to start the application process.

“The application can now be filled out online making it easier for anyone to take part,” he said. “The only requirement is that the band be available to come here and perform for the live stream.”

Those interested in performing in the summer concert series can fill out an application on their website at www.tunehub.ca
