The hydro dams have always been a source of great fishing, but if you want to access them in the next few years you will only be able to use one route.
Ontario Power Generation has closed the Little Long Hydro Dam crossing on Fraserdale Road north of Smooth Rock Falls for the duration of the construction project of the Adam Creek spillway. To access the dams will you have to use the Fred Flat Road through Smokey Falls north of Kapuskasing.
The Little Long Dam Safety Project will make upgrades to the Adam Creek spillway and the sluice gates to meet safety requirements.
