It’s been a bit unnerving for Kapuskasing area residents in the last 24 hours. After a 10 hour scheduled power outage kept you in the dark from 7 am to 5:40 pm on Sunday, two more unscheduled power failures took place this morning. On its website Hydro One officials says they are investigating the two that lasted approximately 30 minutes each and affected over 2,800 customers from Opasatika to Moonbeam. Hydro One didn’t provide other details. The unscheduled outages were at 9:36 and again at 10 am.
Another scheduled power outage takes place tomorrow morning, while you are sleeping. As nearly 3,000 customers from Moonbeam to Opasatika including parts of Kapuskasing will be affected from 3 am to 7 am. Hydro One officials state that their work crews will be performance regular maintenance during that time.
